Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. It is one of the closest Hotels to the Machu Picchu trail if you are going to walk instead of taking the bus. It is beautiful, clean, and affordable. One can easily walk to everything that the town has to offer.

Good location 2 blocks from the main square. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Good breakfast. Comfortable room, cleaning every day.

Good shower.

The smell in the room (my guess is sewer gas) is unpleasant. The room is windowless except for poorly covered skylight. Wifi a little weak at times. The breakfast is dreadful.

The staff extremely helpful. Location close to centre and Quoricancha 2 blocks away. Internet great. Breakfast buffet better than in other hotels. Lots of hot water. Clean room. Beds very comfortable with memory foam pillows. Cannot fault.
