Amazing Ocean View, private pool, outdoor kitchen, good standard The hostes Alexia was great, helped us book all activites and ATV and was very helpful during the entire stay of 2 weeks with making our stay as good as possible We also warmly recommend the surf lessons with Bernal, the best! Hi is very encouraging and know what is needed to help you evolve to the next level, also always chill, do not stress, very service minded. We did also go with Bernal on boat tour, great fishing, so much fun, beautiful dolphins

Lovely space to stay

Beautiful place, great and spacious room with a beautiful view to the ocean and the jungle. The breakfast was great, staff very kind and helpful. Location is great, near to everything but also far from the crowd, which is very relaxing. We stayed in 3 more hotels in St Teresa during our stay due the lack of availability at Akwa and this one was far the best! Really Recommend!! great value for money. Alexia the owner is extremely nice and helped us all the time we had any request.

The access is tricky, you must have a 4x4 car to make it to the top and go down also, but we knew it in advance and it wasnt a problem

The property is located on a hill, so it has the most amazing views of the ocean. The sunsets are priceless, also the property is surrounded by pure nature. When we arrived Gerardo (Host) received us at the private parking lot which he offered to help us with our bags/luggage. While he gave us a tour of the property he offered us a glass of water (He was very kind). We stayed in the Bardot (garden view room) which has a private terrance to the garden. The terrance contains two cozy lounge full body beach cushions and a floor table. Perfect little get away to connect with nature and enjoy the sound of the waves and view the epic sunsets. Inside the room, it was very cozy. In fact, from different locations in the room we were able to admire the ocean views. The room is equipped with an excellent AC. Also, we slept so good because inside the room it’s only peace and quiet. Outside, just a few steps away from the Bardot there is a shared pool, also there are tables, chairs and cozy beach lounge cushions. At this same location we enjoyed the most delicious tico breakfast. There are 4 breakfast selections, but we loved the tico breakfast and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Also, during our first breakfast time Alexia (Host) welcomed us and asked how we were doing and if there is anything she can help with to make our stay wonderful to contact her (She was very kind).

What can I say ! This place sucks !!! Absolutely below standard place do not book at this resort !!! We unfortunately booked our Christmas vacation, paid $5400 dollars for 3 night stay! and were outmost disappointed First of all the resort looks nothing like the pictures. The tiny square they call a pool was moldy, green spots inside the liner of the pool. Walking in to the master rooms at 110 degrees, looks like they were using cheap AC units that were inoperable and incapable of actually cooling down. The master bedrooms upstairs were a furnace!!!! Not just that the AC units were out, the rooms smelt like mold and mildew not sure if it was a readily of sewage odor. We waited about couple of hours and the rooms did not cool down. The slider doors didn’t lock and driving up to the rooms was a massive steep hillside driveway that can only get to by a car. Super awful ! Don’t be fooled !!!! There is not a real view! the trees hide the entire ocean view so you are looking at a bunch of trees pretty much. We complained that AC not working and the owner completely denied it without coming to even see!!! The resort adversities 2 master bedrooms and two full bathrooms but failed to mention there is only one un conditioned toilet to share outside of the bedrooms 🤯 - as a reply to our complaints the manager called the owner and the owner told us to sleep down at the living room !!!! And if we don’t like it we should leave the hotel (yeah in the middle of a foreign country ???) after not refunding us our monies and denying us access to collect our suitcases. Great answer boss 👎🏻 This was a nightmare vacation ! This guy ruined our family’s happiest time Of the year. We palmed this vacation months ahead. We were 6 guests with 6 suite cases spending our vacation
