"Old school charm with a big tree filled garden"

Location within walking distance of everything. House has characterful old lady charm, providing the ambience one wants in Clarens. Can definitely recommend the place and we will make use of it again.

"A delightful stay, which felt far too short, in a stunning location."

We loved the character of this historic cottage, and the beautiful views especially from the garden terrace above the cottage. There were ample rooms to accommodate our family, and 2 bathrooms. Gorgeously decorated and furnished. Well equipped. Cozy and tasteful.

Our only suggestion would be for heating to be turned on prior to guests arrival. The off street parking was quite tight for our vehicle, but we managed! We wished we had booked for at least 3 nights!!

Everything was clean and neat. Lovely cottage, love the sandstone walls and the antiquities. National walking trail near the house, the children were so pleased about that! Nice board games for cold cozy nights. And it is near the centre of town. We will definitely book again. Thank you Penni!
