The Whitehaven Hotel

Whitehaven Hotel is a hidden gem! Located on the water, the view was wonderful and we were able to watch the sunrise from the dock. Our stay was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed a nice walk around the village. We will definitely be back!

Greatly enjoyed the stay. Cindy is an outstanding host and the conversations with other guests were the highlight of the stay. Also enjoyed the kayaking and bicycling.

We enjoyed every minute at the hotel. Having a quiet setting after a fun but hectic week in the ouuter banks is what we needed.

This is such a special place. The inn is warm and charming in a really beautiful spot. Comfortable beds. Porch and screened in porch overlooking the water. They have bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and they put out wine and grapes in the evening. We unfortunately missed breakfast as our stay was a quick one, but we would love to come back to really enjoy all this place has to offer.

Cindy’s place is a slice of heaven. Thoughtful and charming decor. Excellent breakfast to start the day every morning.

Wonderful restored hotel that brilliantly combines 19th century style with 21st century practicality. Delightful staff.

We had two rooms and both were lovely. I appreciated the extra touches, the chocolates, the lovely tea cups, the extra blankets. I wish we could have spent more time there sitting on the comfy rocking chairs on the porch looking at the view. I will definitely return for a longer visit.

Our stay this time was as good or better then our previous stay. Accommodations were good and personnel were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were sumptuous and well above average. Would certainly recommend.
