The Whitehaven Hotel

Cindy was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious. Fresh flowers in every room. Wood fireplaces add to the ambiance! Claw foot tubs with bath salts provided! A lot of extra thoughtful touches. I highly recommend if you want a remote romantic get away.

The house is grand and the adjacent river is picturesque. There is a free ferry that docks in the property - ask for a ride across the river, you won’t regret it. The staff are friendly and informative. We could not ask for a more peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

We had another wonderful stay at the Whitehaven Hotel. We went the month before, and loved it so much that we came again. Since we were the only party checked in, we got to tour the other rooms. There are kayaks that you can use for free. The staff really make sure that you feel welcome. We'll be back soon!

What a unique, historical, beautiful, comfortable place! We enjoyed wine, cheese, and cookies in the evening and a gourmet breakfast with nice people in the morning. We were able to stay on the bottom floor, which was a big plus for us, as the stairs may have been too difficult. We took the small ferry ride over, which ends at the drive of the hotel. So much to see and so peaceful!

Loved it. Super fun, casual and Cindy, the innkeeper was great. Will be back.
