Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Shakopee

Everything was clean, up to date and good condition. The pool was quite small, but Ok.

Room was very clean. Staff were nice and the breakfast was hot and clean/well kept. Would stay again if in the area.

Every thing was terrific one little hiccup in our clean shower has a couple stray hairs. The shower was clean however! The rest of the room was also clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. This is my Second visit in 90 days.

Grandson loved playing in the pool. Shower head was kinda clogged. Water was squirting in weird directions. Beds were very comfortable.

Good clean place to stay - breakfast options could be more generous, and our shower head was outdated and corroded - but overall a very very pleasant place to stay, especially for the price!

Check in staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and we relaxed after a day at the Renaissance Festival. We appreciated the closeness to the restaurant we wanted to go to.

Everything was good until my last night. Actually, it was good until the morning I was to leave. I had requested a 5:00 wake up call, unfortunately when I woke up in the morning and turned to the window, it was light outside and at 5am it is still dark. I was not to happy as my flight was scheduled for 9. We are supposed to be at the airport 3 hours before takeoff, I have a rental car to return and don't really know if I am even going to make it at all due to not getting my wake up call. My stressful morning could of been avoided if someone had followed through. Everything else was good. Room was clean, and the continental breakfast was appreciated.

As a return customer, I knew what to expect. Or at least I thought. In a few years, the clean parking lot has become less than what I thought Marriott carries with the brand. The newer building is sure showing the high turnover they have! Always hated not having a real pool or hot tub at all. The staff have always been courteous and quick at the counter, but I am sure bigger problems may be left alone. I believe I had requested top floor, but in any case, not the floor with a broken ice maker. Please put a sign on it for one, and two, if you knew, tell me at check in. First morning I tried breakfast...same as a month ago. Cold soggy eggs and basically steamed sausage patties. No, I don't want a waffle. Big show with little performance. Most of the room was clean as I recall from previous times. Then I came back that evening and found a ladies underwear next to the couch. Then I looked under the couch cushion...then curiosity made me look behind the dresser. A dirty sock, a vape pen cartridge cover, other trash. This isn't the standard(in any of these instances) that justifies a price like this. Thank you for the bed,good eastern view, and quiet location. However, one must acknowledge the stain or tarnish this placed in me about the Marriott brand.

The only thing i can say is that someone didn’t see a pair of socks on top of the dresser area. They were there when we checked in.
