VISU VILLA hotel

Wow, it was fantastic. We have travelled around Sri Lanka for a month and ended our trip here and I am so glad we did because going the other way round would have made everything else an anti climax. Ruwan, the owner was fabulous throughout our time here and nothing was a problem. He went out of his way to make our stay here as memorable as possible. He is also a very good cook. We ate here every meal because they were tasty and fresh and we were unable to finish because of the amount. The pool was great and we enjoyed watching the monkeys playing in the trees above. This is a proper jungle retreat with animal parks very close by. We even saw wild elephants walking on the side of the road. Ruwan and his staff made us feel very special and if we come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay here again. Many thanks H Ruwan.

Un posto molto curioso e particolare. Le camere tutte diverse e molto kitch.... Il proprietario molto gentile e disponibile come tutto il personale. L'hotel non è vicino al centro ma la moglie del proprietario ci ha portato in macchina. Buona colazione fatta al momento e il ristorante semplice ma gustoso.

We liked everything, Ruwan is the man. He helped us with so many things, transport, day trips. Lovely little pool surrounded by nature, super affordable, brand new AC machine and the comfiest bed of our trip. It had a beautiful pair of paintings on the wall 😀

The walk into town doesn't have a path or anything, if you've spent much time in Sri Lanka you're probably used to this but it's not the most fun at night. Luckily, there's always a lift getting offered so not really a problem.

Przyjemny pobyt, właściciel bardzo miły, w hotelu panuje bardzo spokojny klimat. Śniadania duże i bardzo dobre.

Location and calm surroundings. Having become unwell during my stay, Ruwan supported me throughout organising visits to local doctors and providing all that I needed. He even quickly arranged for me to stop an extra night to recover. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was also varied and filling.
