The Walkhampton Inn

Lovely little inn with bags of character and very hospitable management. Would definitely return.

Walk Hampton Inn is full of character and delightfully situated next to Dartmoor. The experience is brought to life by the extremely friendly staff who go the royal mile to ensure their guests are looked after. This was the first trip with our Springer Spaniel and she was made to feel as much at home as we were. Brilliant atmosphere at the bar in the evening.

Great little pub. Surprisingly spacious and modern rooms. Food and beverage selection was excellent and service very fiendly and welcoming. On the downside the pub entrance was having some excations hence had to go around the back to enter - no doubt this will be fixed in the future. Also the wifi was a bit patchy in the room at times - but otherwise a pleasnat stay despite the incessant rain

Enjoyable stay, delicious food. The room was clean and comfortable,, no noise from the very busy bar. Excellent shower

This is a 17th century pub so it has all the quirks of that. If you want the modern bathroom of a hotel then this isn't for you but if you want a night in a 17th-century pub then it's absolutely perfect! The staff are friendly, the food is good and the bed is comfortable. It was a perfect place to stop over.

Just gorgeous . They are expanding 😊😊😊😊. So lovely and friendly . The Inn bedroom and en-suite was incredible.. not to be faulted . 5 plus stars from our stay Sat 28 th Nov

I really liked that it was a 17th century building with a lot of local history.

Such an ancient pub .. very friendly staff .. easy going atmosphere .. breakfast great .. bed blissfully comfortable & lovely white sheets & towels .. shower didnt drain too well but apart from that was perfect for my 3 night stay while visiting family !

Staff nice and friendly breakfast suberb, Bedroom a old fusty smell could benefit from air freshener also floor felt little up and down. No real carparking at inn
