The Walkhampton Inn

Great staff, very friendly, food was very good. The hotel needs a great deal of work doing to it, we had issues with the window not closing and the shower head was leaking so we could not use it and ended up using our friends shower in the next room. Hopefully once all the renovations are finished it might be worth a second stay, but I’d not stay there again at the moment. Shame we won’t made aware of this at the time

A great place to stay with superb food. They are undergoing renovations and our room had just been finished, they are shutting for several weeks in October for more major works, so I imagine when they finish it will be even better afterwards. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is always a good sign I think when you enter the bar to find it buzzing with locals. Food portions are generous and on the second night we wise enough to skip starters to leave space for desert 😊. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it highly.

Very friendly, comfortable accomodation with good food.

We had a great stay ,our room was lovely, all the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, the breakfast was included in room price and once again lovely we will definitely stay again.

Great place, room a bit small, but only paid £65 so we cannot complain about that, but the service and food was amazing. Would definitely stay again

Our room in the Walkhampton Inn was spacious and well furnished with a very comfortable large bed. The en suite bathroom was delightful with an excellent powerful shower. The Inn is full of character and the location is very picturesque, so it was a very attractive place to stay. We enjoyed an evening meal in the bar; lovely home prepared food served by the very friendly and attentive staff. Overall it was extremely good value for money and we hope to go back and stay there again sometime.
