Location Conveniet parking possibility in a garage across the street Good value for money

Very good location, clean and spacious room though first day they did not service the room, parking, facilities.

The location was perfect for me, the staff was really helpful, and the coffee was good.

Location and ease of access.

Our ac wasn’t working properly but it was at least working.

Conveniently located for my purposes. When I experienced a problem the staff made it right by moving me to a new room

There was some type of cleaning product / oil on the desk which stained my shirt. Needed a new room. Overall the hotel is very dated.

The young Nepalese guy at reception was very friendly and knowledgeable. Changed our room type as we had mistakenly booked a twin room. The location of the hotel is fantastic for the historic areas and socialising. The hotels partnership with bars and restaurants was a bonus.

No demerits.

Changed reservation from 3 night to 2 nights within the change acceptable policy and they refused to accept it. The hotel originally said it was because it was booked through a third-party. But then when booking.com accepted the correction, the hotel then denied it saying it was a nonrefundable room.

Lobby looked great. Main bed was comfortable. Staff were polite and pleasant if ineffective ( see below).

At time of booking (2 months before stay) we requested sofa bed was made up. On arrival we're told it hadn't been but someone would address this straight away. After waiting half an hour, had to call front desk to request again it was done . Another half hour wait before someone turned up. He'd clearly never made a bed in his life. Wrinkled bottom sheet . A coverlet and a screwed up sheet over the top. No sheet between bottom sheet and coverlet. We were exhausted after a difficult journey to NHH. At this point we just wanted our own space not to have further discussions with front desk so did not pursue the issue. The hotel was booked out and we had paid almost $400 for this substandard experience. We've been in 4 different accommodations on our trip including Boston and NY. This was the worst experience and the most expensive hotel.
