Clérigos Prime Suites by Porto City Hosts

Comfortable and spacious in a great location near the Torres do Clerigos and Sao Bento station. Nice continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning and full kitchen if you want to cook for yourself.

No lift and our room was on the 3rd floor.

Location is incredible, literally in the middle of everything. Apartment is comfortable & clean - essential amenities provided and decently equipped kitchen if you want to do any basic cooking. It was a great little base to return to after spending our days exploring Porto. Joao was very helpful, meeting us at the carpark, escorting us to the apartment and ensuring we had everything we needed!

Check in was a little less smooth as we had a car. I would recommend calling the staff via WhatsApp when you're ~30min away, so they will be there to meet you at the car park to allow you access. We'd previously been communicating via Booking.com but I don't think those messages are checked as regularly. They were very responsive with WhatsApp though. We didn't receive the details of where the car park was until after we called them, and we ended up driving around the Old Town of Porto longer than we would've liked. I would not suggest meeting at the apartment address as they initially suggest if driving, as the road is reasonably narrow and currently blocked by construction at the end of the street (so you can't drive through to the other side). Parking was super easy once we got in there, and very very helpful. I'd just suggest calling ahead and establishing a firm meeting time 😊 Also, we were on the 2nd floor, and the bakery below started work fairly early, so we did get woken by some banging in the mornings but it wasn't a major issue for us.

I loved that it’s very close to everything and that you do not need to take transport if you want to walk everywhere. The breakfast they have delivered is so nice and fresh - a real treat! Close to some grocery and restaurants and bakeries. It’s modern and clean. I really loved the location and all it has to offer.

There is lots of construction around at the moment so it is very noisy which I understand living in the centre of everything! The bedroom faces a busy street so I was woken up by screaming drunk people 2 nights in a row and not just once. Regardless of that I still think this place is perfect !

Everything was great, except for the directions to the property entrance, which was difficult to access by car.

You’re in the heart of the city. Top hygiene level. Super supportive and friendly host. All you need is there. On arrival host met us, showed where to park too.
