great location, friendly staff. nice to have a restaurant/bar and coffee shop on site

walls are thin, was noisy at night until folks settled in

Stayed at Motto Philadelphia for multiple nights this month. Would definitely stay there again on a future visit to the city. The hotel is located downtown. Valet parking is in a lot across the street for about $50 a night. The hotel has a coffee shop and a dinner restaurant on the first floor, as well as a rooftop bar on the eleventh floor. There are countless dining and shopping options within walking distance. A Metro station is less than a block away to access the subway system. (If you are attending a Phillies game or other sporting event in that area, you simply board the connector at that station, get off at the first stop, and make your way to the subway line that takes you to NRG.) The room was spotless. Housekeeping was offered daily. Bathroom was a good size and featured a walk-in shower. My room contained a safe and mini-fridge.

We were on a trip to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. We had come to Philadelphia to meet up with some old friends ( one of whom was a bridesmaid at our wedding) We took the red eye from San Francisco, arriving at the hotel about 11 am. We were going to leave our bags and go shopping, but they were able to check us in early, which was very much appreciated as we were exhausted. After resting, we went down to the lobby bar for happy hour. The drinks were good but the food was *fantastic* particularly the ceviche and empanads. Another thing I really appreciated was the front desk staff. I take medication that has to be refrigerated. I had it in an insulated bag with an ice pack coming from California, but of course that melted. The lady at the desk here took it and re-froze it for me, so I could use it going on to New York. The location is good, within walking distance of a lot of shopping ( we went to Nordstrom Rack, Five Below and Jeni's ice cream)

The room was very clean as was the lobby area. Staff was wonderful.

Well located in center city, close to rittenhouse and walking distance from University City and the Train station.

Check in desk can get crowded and there’s only one person attending guests, so you may wait in line for a while. Also, there’s a lot of noise at night in the street (people screaming, fighting, police cars, etc.), so your rest most likely be affected if you are in a room facing the street.
