Zafiro Palace Andratx

This was our third visit ( myself , husband and 14yr daughter) however we took my in-laws and this was their first time and they were blown away by this hotel. My father in law has cancer, I emailed the hotel before arriving with some requests, I understood that they were not guaranteed. Upon check in the reception staff were fantastic and all request had been met. Actually all staff we encountered were friendly, polite and could not do enough for you. They all worked very hard. Some of the staff have been there a few years and recognised my husband and I which was lovely. Our room was a junior suite it had everything we needed. We had a great view of the mountains. The room was cleaned daily, towels replaced daily. Mini bar was replenished daily. We were in block 8 which was away from the pool areas and quiet. The hotel, pool areas and restaurants were spotlessly clean and the ground were landscaped and well maintained. Our stayed was during the school holidays but we didn’t find the hotel to be busy, there is always sun beds available and tables available in the al carte restaurants. We went to the steak, buffet and Italian restaurant the food was excellent in all and there was plenty of choice. The steak was our personal favourite. The drinks were very good quality, the cocktail were made well and from fresh. The views from this hotel are outstanding and so picturesque. There is no loud entertainment at night but this is what we like. However there was live musicians playing a guitar, piano and saxophone as background music which was fantastic and added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

Have just returned home after a great stay at this lovely clean hotel. Reception was friendly and we were given a large room in block 8 which had fabulous views over the golf course. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. There are 4 different a la carte restaurants to choose from, which are bookable from the app. Our favourite was the Steakhouse. I enjoyed my meal in the Sushi restaurant but unfortunately my husband's meal was cold and so was returned. It really was an all inclusive experience as food and drinks could be ordered to your room. We liked the roof top pool and service there was generally very good. The adults only pool was great and there was usually spare sunbeds to be had. Yes there were alot of babies at the hotel but they were usually very well behaved. The hotel has got a strange layout with all the different blocks and it took us a few days to find our way around. Entertainment in the Blue Lounge wasn't always to our liking but at least there was something each evening. We found the majority of the staff to be friendly though sometimes service was a little slow especially in the buffet. My husband would've loved to play golf there and did enquire but it was very expensive. We took a taxi to Port Andratx which cost €9 but it was very pretty there and lots of restaurants to choose from as a change from the hotel. Overall we were very impressed with this hotel and will probably return next year.

Beautiful location with stunning views and convenient for walking into Camp De Mar. Service was great especially at the roof top pool. Restaurants were also good our favourites were the Sushi/Fusion and the Steak Restaurant. Our room was clean and large. Definitely recommend this hotel and we’ll be back next year.

Perfektne ubytovanie vhodné na oddych a aj na denné výlety- dobrá infraštruktúra a dostupnosť. Personál po celý čas usmiaty a ochotný pomôcť. Napriek veľkosti hotela a množstvu hostí sme sa nestretli so stiesnenosťou alebo nejakým čakaním. Raňajky skvelé a pestré, vzdy bola možnosť vybrat si niečo take aby to nebolo jednotvárne, veľké plus za čerstvosť a kvalitu surovín👌 Hotelová izba priestranná a 2 krat za deň room service 👍

We had a lovely girls holiday here. Made even better by the very attentive Mario who led the activities, ensuring each person had an individual experience. Gonzalo at Blue Lounge Bar was exceptional regarding creating a welcoming and professional experience with a great fun factor!!

We stayed at the Zafiro Palace as part of a business trip with clients, and upon arrival, the service was brilliant. We were met by a happy team member who quickly took our bags and welcomed us with a drink and cool towels. The room was spacious and comfortable with large loungers on the balcony. There are plenty of pools, and the food quality was very nice, although we found the service at breakfast to be a little slow and felt like there were not enough staff to support the customers. The gym could have been bigger for the size of the hotel, but this is just being picky, as the hotel in general was lovely. Will definitely be returning here.

This place has to be seen to be believed, built into the mountainside, 10 three storey blocks with magnificent views from almost everywhere. The up and down nature of the layout might present a few problems to the very infirm, but there’s lifts and access points everywhere. Truely an amazing design, and so clean. We stayed in a club room, very spacious, excellent facilities, huge bed, clean and tidy, and our own concierge (Laura), who was brilliantly attentive to our every need, indeed, nothing seems too much trouble. With 5 restaurants all serving outstanding food, well presented , it’s a difficult decision to pick where to go next, there’s 4 speciality venues and for more casual dining, a buffet which rivals the best cruise offering. Limited evening entertainment, so no discos thumping through the night to keep you awake, this is a very relaxing place to stay. Suits all ages, there are several pools, a kids club and a play area, though they don’t allow inflatables in the main pools. Always plenty sunbeds available and a generous amount of space around the pools, so we never felt crowded. All staff everywhere very polite and friendly, you can see the pride they have in the place. Would we recommend the place to others on a similar budget, I think yes, for the sheer quality of the place, food and staff, but location wise, it’s not ideally suited, as it’s a steep climb partway down (and back up later) the hillside to get to the beach, which we weren’t impressed with, as it looked shabby, busy and very dated. If you are happy to stay within the grounds, or hire a car (or indeed play golf, as there’s a golf course around 2 sides of the hotel anyway) there’s not much to do otherwise.

Great service with a smile, fantastic room, beautiful facilities & 10 minute stroll to a lovely beach. Highly recommended. Cant comment too much on food - extensive breakfast buffet & only ate one meal (which was good) in the Mediterranean restaurant.
