Zafiro Palace Andratx

Beautiful setting, fantastic facilities, family friendly, fabulous food, and brilliant service. We visited with our 15 month old and stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony and hot tub (not with a pool or the rooftop). The room was great, with a very comfortable bed and really nice cot bed for our daughter. The hot tub is such a fun addition and all the rooms have them. This is the perfect place to come if you have children under 5 as they are very baby friendly. It is also very romantic for couples - but I would recommend you dine after 19:30 as the earlier slots are dominated by young families. The hotel is a short walk from a lovely beach that is well maintained with a calm sea. It’s particularly nice to visit first thing in the morning before the crowds. There are plenty of sunbeds, and it has a great atmosphere. The all inclusive package is worth the money. The food and drink is SUPERB. There is a great range of restaurants and food trucks on offer. We loved our evening meals in the restaurants - sushi, steak and Mediterranean - but equally adored the buffet in The Market restaurant. Breakfast in La Veranda is also fab and worth booking. All the staff are so hospitable and brilliant with children. The app they use is very intuitive and user friendly. It allows you to book restaurants and spa treatments. The gym and spa are both great - good equipment and exercise classes on offer, including sunrise yoga. The thing that makes the hotel stand out the most is the superb hospitality of the staff. We never felt like anything was too much, and they were so kind.

A truly stunning property. I stayed at Zafiro Palace Andratx last month with my friend and it was just what we needed - serene, spacious and of course, luxurious. As Zafiro Club members we received multiple extra perks, including access to a separate pool area and a VIP check-in. We also had Laura, the wonderful concierge woman, at our disposable for anything we needed - from changing reservations to booking the on-site e-Bikes. She even had fresh vegan cookies delivered to our suite after learning of our dietary requirements! Our suite was perfect - clean and modern (without being sterile). We also had a balcony overlooking the mountains AND the sea, which really is the creme de la creme of hotel room views. The Jo Malone toiletries are a nice touch. As for food, there are several restaurants at the hotel to suit a wide variety of palates. Our favourite was the Restaurant Taste and Sushi, where we enjoyed delicious vegan sushi at a circular table enclosed by a beaded curtains. Shout-out to the Irish waitress from Kerry too who welcomed guests at the restaurant reception - she was so lovely and friendly! The hotel has multiple pools, including two 'sky pools' and an indoor spa pool. Keep in mind they don't open until 10am, if you're an early morning swimmer. Despite the hotel being at near full capacity, the pools were almost always empty. Fitness fanatics will be right at home here; there is a fully-equipped gym overlooking the mountains and plenty of exercises classes on offer. We chose to rent e-Bikes, which are available for about €20 a day, to explore the local area. The receptionist gave us helmets and even took the time to help us plot a safe route with cycling paths and minimal road traffic. There is also a sandy beach just 5 minutes' walk from the hotel, as well as a few shops and restaurants. It was relatively quiet when we visited but I believe it can get quite busy in the peak of summer. Overall our stay was absolutely stunning and we were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommend for travellers who just want to switch off and unwind. I will be raving about this for months!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible time staying at Zafiro Palace Andratx in Majorca! From the moment we arrived, we were treated so well. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel made it so special — they upgraded our room, and we arrived to a lovely note from the manager, a bottle of Cava, and a delicious chocolate cake wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Those little touches meant a lot and made us feel truly valued. Our room was gorgeous, the food was next level, and the service everywhere was amazing. We tried all of the speciality restaurants — every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with so much variety that there’s definitely something for everyone. We loved the bar area, the stunning sunsets, and the great entertainment. The hotel pools were fabulous — we spent time at each one and never had to worry about finding a bed or a gazebo. The views of the sea and mountains were breathtaking, and the beach was just a short 5-minute walk away with crystal-clear turquoise water. Another lovely touch was the beach bag and towels provided in our room — so convenient and thoughtful. Everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you, Zafiro Palace Andratx, for making our anniversary so memorable. We can’t wait to return next year!

Excellent hotel. Restaurants were really super with a wide selection of food and we enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffet as well. Room was gorgeous extremely clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool areas were beautiful and staff available to order drinks food all the time. A super spot and a short walk to a very pretty little beach

I chose this hotel for its quality and location and it certainly didn’t disappoint. All the staff were courteous and helpful, the facilities are great and the food was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable and I loved the huge walk in shower and the hot tub. It does take a while to find your way around as it’s a big hotel but the bonus for us was that everywhere is fully accessible and we needed that given my husband’s mobility difficulties. I’d definitely go back.

We stayed at the Zafiro Palace Andratx in early September. We were greeted by the friendly Abdul Jamal who took us to our room pointing out the important things along the way - restaurants, gym etc. We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool. The sheltered terrace had two reclining sun beds and a very comfortable circular lounger. Having our own pool was useful if we didn’t feel like making the trek to one of the many pools around the vast hotel. The restaurants were good quality. The Market restaurant laid on an excellent wide ranging buffet breakfast, everything you could wish for including, for a real treat, chilled cava. Lunches here are a la carte with tapas and pintxos, ok but not spectacular. Dinner is again buffet style with themed evenings. There are four a la carte restaurants, we had seen comments about how difficult is to book, but we had no trouble at all using the app, just need to plan ahead a little. Our favourite was Mare Nostrum. The food is excellent and Elena looked after us really well on both our visits. The Caliu (steak restaurant) and Taste and sushi (does what it says on the tin), on the same site as Mare Nostrum, also have excellent food. The only thing that spoils the experience is the fact that all three restaurants are hosted by the one person - this can result in very long queues at popular times. Everyone is offered a glass of cava to take to the restaurant and seated by the same host the queues can therefore take a long time to clear. La Veranda, the Italian restaurant across the site, overlooks the main pool, the food was enjoyable but pretty standard fare. The Blue Lounge bar was a great spot to have a pre dinner drink, excellent sunset views - thanks to Marco Robin and Gonzalo Ronaldi for looking after us. The many pools were brilliant - really clear water, a bit brisk when you got in but it was very warm so the opportunity to cool down was appreciated. There was plenty of room around the pools and no pressure on sun beds. The Oasis pool, adults only, was indeed a quiet oasis. For the more energetic there are aqua classes on several days a week at the Sky or Main pools. There were a few cons - *the hotel site is huge and will be difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues or small children * there are slopes and steps everywhere, even into the toilet and shower cubicles in the rooms. The steps into the pools are steep, although most do have a slope for gentle walking into to water *several reviews, and now ours, have also mentioned that there is no door on the bathroom, this could be an issue if you are sharing with friends. * sun beds around the pool have very little back support. Did we have a good time? Yes. Would we stay again? Not sure.

"Great hotel with fantastic views over the bay of Camp De Mar and Andraxt. The Junior Suite with Private Pool was great although the pool a bit too cold to swim in but i guess during the hotter summer months it would warm up and be a welcome relief from the heat. The view was great too. A very nice room. The Blue Bar was lovely to sit of and evening and enjoy the most picturesque views and relax in beautiful surroundings. Special mention must go to our room attendant "ALICIA" she was the most lovely caring friendly person who went out of her way to make sure my friend was alright who had had an accident and was a bit immobile..she even brought him in a Spanish omelette she had made at home especially for him...such a wonderful person leaving a lasting impression of the hotel. The hotel and facilities are first class and there is nothing to fault with the hotel. I would have given an excellent rating...but i just think that a little more interest in my friend who had the accident in the hotel would have been nice.....
