Power outages but not the property fault

The location is ideal, right above the beach. The unit we stayed in was ground floor which was nice with children.

The apartment was filthy. The apartment is not to the standard of the photos and reviews on Booking.com It is in serious need of a deep clean. I saw on the roster they had tenants for over a month. I assume only surface cleaning was done between each visitor. The house is infested with tiny red ants, the bathrooms have mildew on the walls and mould in the silicone around the bath. The couches are filthy and overused. The door handles hadnt been cleaned. The rug is dirty. No care was taken to check the grass outside, I had to pick up plastic and cigarette butts. To name a few. We are very unhappy with the standard in which we received the apartment. Especially at the price charged. We decided to leave after the first night due to the unpleasant stay. Unfortunately the owner has now blocked me on whatsapp after making him aware of the condition of the apartment and asking for a refund.

The location was perfect.

The furniture can do with some upgrades
