I love everything about the apartment. No complaints.

I wish they had parking. However, this is normal for places in downtown Montreal.

No elevator and tough to carry bags up 3 floors, very loud music outside till early hours of the morning, area is seedy and no immediate parking, Loft in the unit is hard to access with very low headroom.

The flat was clean

Bad experience: 1 The surface was clearly much smaller than what they described. 43m2 in the really VS 78m2 on their description. So for me, it was clearly like a scam. We tried to claim it to the host, no constructive feedback, very disappointed to their service. 2 Also the location is in the middle of night clubs, full of drunk people during the evening. Quite noisy. 3 Laundry machine is always busy, difficult and inconvenient for laundry It was the worst experience for me in my past few years experience with booking.com

The room/ were good, spacious and well organized

The view was a brick wall. It was extremely noisy all night long being that people gather and yell in the alley right below the windows. The barroom fan did not work and it was got and humid.

Was family of three came to this place ( cost us $1,135) , at our arrival we found out the toilet is not working ( one toilet in the unit) , called the owner who knew about issue and sent us YouTube video to watch and how to unplug toilet every time we use. We asked if if it’s not getting fixed we will leave because the unit has one toilet and three people need to use it frequently. No respond . We told him if he can’t fix it and this is our vacation Not fixing his trouble during our stay we would like the refund of second night and we will find another Hotel . He agreed . The next day we left at 7:30 am. We texted him again for notifying him regarding to our second night. He blocked his phone . No respond from the property owner and also No massage from Booking .com website I wouldn’t recommended this place and Booking.com as we haven’t heard anything about our refund or trouble that caused us and ruined our trip . We booked the second night with booking.com to show we are not lie and there was an issue that didn’t get solve by owner But from Now on we will book our trip with hotel.com ( live chat, responsible , following up with customer if there is an issue) You lost us as regular loyal customers.

No responsibility of the property owner No respond to customer email from booking.com website when issues rise. No live chat or phone call from booking.com website 24/7 for customer service . No follow up from booking.com website .

The check in information was very clear. The studio is big enough for 4 people, clean and well-equipped. The mezzanine is Ok (not easy to get in), thanks to the AC it was not too hot. The grocery store downstairs is very helpful.

There is no lift so be ready to climb stairs, the sofa bed is very very hard. The studio is right in front of a discotheque so we couldn't sleep on Thursday and Friday nights. That was really a bad surprise for us. We tried to contact the management, sent messages but nobody contacted us back. We would have appreciated some assistance.

I enjoyed the size of the space

This was overall a really terrible stay. Location wise you are in the heart of Montreal where there are a lot of homeless people who surround your building. The building itself has no elevators so if you were to travel here with a family you will be hauling your luggage up 4 flights of stairs… if you’re lucky you’ll be on the first floor so only 2 flights of stairs lol. The listing mentioned there would be a parking garage on the premise but we ended up parking at Excentris parking down the street for $30 for overnight. Do not parking anywhere down the street past Sherbrooke St E it’s a down hill with even more homeless ppl and hecklers. The room itself was very spacious! BUT the sheets were very itchy and dirty, I grew like two acnes on my neck from staying here for just 2 nights. The loft above is NOT very spacious and felt extremely claustrophobic, we even found dead bugs in our bed. The sofa bed was more comfortable but quite disgusting with all the stains… Overall I’d just avoid this stay. A solid 3/10 at best…

The apartment is very spacious and quite new. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a multimedia tv. Location is great, is possible to reach the city center in few minutes

One of the two bedrooms is on a mezzanine floor which is not very convenient.

The neighborhood is great, with many interesting restaurants and walking distance from McGill and downtown. There are four or five great restaurants just outside the door. The unit is nice, with a decent kitchen and a fun bedroom loft for kids. The AC works well. There is a handy little grocery store close by.

Café Campus across the street is a club and can be quite loud on some nights (especially Saturday), not only because of music until 3am but would-be partiers gathered on the street for entry. This included the guy who decided it would be fun to aggressively rev his motorcycle late at night, then returned to do it again an hour later. (The village missing an idiot can have him back.) As others have said, the unit is fairly soundproof, but this only goes so far if you are sleeping on the foldout couch in the living room.

I was put on a 3rd floor. Didn’t know about $538 damage deposit only after I confirmed my stay. I payed 2k for 4 nights. I could’ve easily stayed at Sheraton’s hotel with $600 less. I was very disappointed and absolutely bummed when I checked into my stay. I read through their policy and I wouldn’t even get a refund if I wanted to. So I had no choice to stay there. The location is too active and loud. There is a pub right across the street and nothing but loud. I felt uncomfortable of the location.
