SO! Boutique Hostel

Not much. It was popular with Indonesian tourists, so I enjoyed being surrounded by friendly Indonesians and no western tourists.

Dirty bathrooms and no soap for washing hands after using the toilet (obviously no toilet paper either). I felt bad for the staff who seemed miserable, presumably bored.

There is nice coffe shop on first floor.

The most awful place we've been. Not only in Indonesia. - unfriendly stuff - extremely dirty (rooms and bathrooms), no soap, papers or any sanitary - blood on sheets - bed bugs We've booked two nights, left after terrible first one. Avoid it on all costs. Ps. When we reported it, stuff just smile and said "ok". Spare yourself misarable time and pick some other place.

Very nice staff that let us leave our bags behind the reception both before we checked in but also after we’ve checked out. Very central which was good because we had a lot of places to visit nearby. Closed rooms were the beds were which allowed it to be quiet, also not a lot of noice inside of the dorms.

The AC pipes ran over the lockers and dripped down on to our stuff inside of the lockers, causing our bags to smell funky. The locker keys could also open multiple lockers which made it feel unsafe to use them. Also bathrooms could have been showed a little bit more love but it was tolerable. The sheets had stains on them aswell.

We arrived late at night, quick and efficient check in. Pods were good own privacy and light so could get sorted without disturbing anyone

good location, the beds were actually pretty okay the café underneath the hostel (h&u café and eatery) was quite good

it was so disgusting. there were stains on our linens, the wash basin was not cleaned for 3 days (there were remains of toothpaste and other undefinable stuff) and there were very big ants and lots of mosquitoes, especially in the showers. the employees smoked inside and the bedroom door was left open all the time, which felt quite unsafe. also, they started playing very loud music at 7 a.m. each morning.

I think it's weird that towels are allowed to be hanged outside the locker. The locker is the first thing guests saw when entering the 2nd floor. It made the place looks messy. Another thing I didn't like is my key can open any locker. I didn't put anything inside after knowing this. I slept with my bags. My door room is hard to close fully, people just started to partially open it, the door was eventually never locked during my stay.

does not resemble the pictures at all - dont be fooled it is run down, dirty and really unfriendly!

The hostel has nice beds in pod style was probably the only good thing about it

Unfortunately this hostel has potential but is extremely visibly dirty and unhygienic in the bathroom and shower area- it has clearly not been cleaned in weeks if not months. There was no hand soap or loo roll, dirt and hair everywhere and a cold shower. It was also not social so if you’re a backpacker wouldn’t recommend it.
