SO! Boutique Hostel

I rarely give a bad review but this place was awful. The nice photos are a lie as it’s disgusting. The staff clearly never clean the place as the bathrooms were filthy and our sheets had someone else’s hair on them. Staff also smoked inside, breaking their own rules.

The location was convenient and I'm happy they were awake when we arrived at 3:30 am from the train station. The staff was polite and trustworthy. They allowed us to store our bags behind the front desk while we explored the town and our belongings were safe.

The booking was card only when we would have preferred to use cash. The water pressure was terrible. If 2 people were showering, the water would come out in a trickle. The bathrooms didn't have shelves for shower supplies and the facilities were so dirty. Scummy. It looks like they never clean the shower or the bathroom or the sinks. It was disgusting. The hand soap was so watery that it didn't lather.

The location is perfect and the common room was a great place to relax after a long day
