"Horrible beds! "

Other than the horrific beds, the hotel is nice. The bed however had a huge wave in it and it felt like a 100 year old mattress that had been rotated way too many times. If I’m paying $700 a night it better be a foam topper that I can actually sleep on. If you’re upgrading to the lake view make sure you’re above the 2nd floor or the street noise is LOUD.

My room confirmation was for $545 per night per room for the entire stay. The last night the rate increased to $622. When I questioned the charge I was told it is up the the managers discretion. I have traveled extensively and have never had a hotel increase the rate due to the managers discretion. Obviously we had no one to go to in order to appeal the charge. If the hotel is part of a larger group of luxury hotels I would like this practice to be addressed with them as it is unethical to raise the rate without telling the guest until they see the bill. Shame on them for this practice
