Our room keys didn’t work had to replace 3 times for set of keys … perhaps it’s the room lock needs to be serviced

This hotel is so adorable I honestly feel like I’m at my child hood home in Maine! The staff was very friendly and the room was nice comfortable and clean! I will definitely make this my go to place to stay when I visit Santa Barbara in the future!

"Long weekend vacay"

Lavender Inn by the Sea was very quaint and clean . The price was very high because of the long weekend . It was our first time here , but have stayed in Santa Barbara several times. We were welcome with a bottle of sparkling wine as part of our VIP Expedia benefit . Rooms were very spacious and clean, but a little dated . The ac worked well but was very loud . Central ac would be a welcome addition . The pool was sparkling clean and had ample seating . The refreshment area was very cute and a very nice amenity we were grateful for. They had coffee, tea, and iced water. The wine tasting happy hour with snacks was a very nice surprise and excellent treat. Breakfast was more than satisfying . Great coffee, fresh pastries, and fruit were my favorite part. They had many other selections . I would definitely stay here again because of the bonuses and free parking . It’s located just down the street from the beautiful harbor and a 15-20 minute walk from funk zone , wharf, and train station .

Charming and well appointed boutique hotel in down town Santa Barbara! Two story property with pool and great parking on site. Big room and very comfortable bed. Very quiet and beautiful grounds and landscaping. They serve wine and appetizers in the evening and guests have picnic style happy hour in the courtyard area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We walked to the marina in 10 minutes and ate at Brophy Bros…it was great food with great atmosphere and views. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Exceptional customer service! We will definitely stay again 100%!!
