Clean hotel, helpful staff. Not in a great area. Very dirty area and you have to walk several blocks to get to the subway....

Worst hotel ever all due to the insensitive staff. We arrived to a disgusting bathroom and our room was not cleaned the entire time, but it was evident someone entered our room. Asked for a refund on the first night and was denied. I will press charges. Don’t stay here!!

Chelsea very good service

It was very nice overall. I didn't expect it to be really nice or clean but it surprising was extremely nice and really clean. Some cons are the location, it's not in a great part of the city and the nearest metro station is still about a 10 minute walk through some sketchy areas and at night there aren't many street lights on the streets surrounding the hotel. In addition, the air conditioning is LOUD, every single time it came on during the night, it spooked me awake, it sounded like a jet engine. Also, my room didn't come with a safe (not sure if this is Every room though). Overall, It was good enough for my trip! I didn't plan on spending any time in the hotel anyways, only using it as a place to sleep and bathe and it was great! The front desk also has luggage holding/storage which is helpful if you come early or leave later in the night and still want to sightsee around the city.

Breakfast options could’ve been better. No meat or eggs served. Basic. Room small but get what you pay for. Quiet. Front desk was pleasant.

Hotel is really nice, close to the train and bus stops and the staff was very accommodating.

I have to travel to NYC 4-6 times a year for business in Manhattan. I have always stayed in Manhattan, but the room prices are just ridiculous. I decided to give this hotel a shot and could not be happier. Chelsea and all of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The surrounding area is more industrial and adjacent to a large housing project, but I never felt uncomfortable with the area. There were not many dining options as far as I could tell. I just took the F subway and was in Manhattan for whatever dining or entertainment I was looking for. Having the subway stop 5 minutes away was great, easy access to Manhattan and LGA. If you want a clean, comfortable and fairly priced room, this is the place for you.
