Lovely hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable vibe.

AC unit cooled the cottonwood room reasonably well with 4 people during a warm spell but was a little loud.

"We loved our roomy Cottonwood Penthouse"

Easy late check in. Covered parking in barn. Comfortable, large room with secure lock. Clean with Victorian character. Multiple leisure areas inside and out including fire pit. Fantastic Northern Michigan setting near Sleeping Bear Dunes, Tunnel of Trees, and day trips to Leelenau Wineries, Fish Town restaurants and galleries, Traverse City and so much more We stayed here after Mackinaw Island sister trip. Opted for an extra day in the area. Breakfast is generous and heavenly. Pleasant staff gave great tips for area highlights and owner helped with easy checkout by phone
