The Cottonwood Inn B&B

We enjoyed our stay at the Cottonwood inn. It’s conveniently located in an area not too far from the beach and local restaurants. The staff was friendly and inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our remote had dead batteries and we contacted our host and they were promptly replaced. The one thing I would note is that we had to take really quick showers because the hot water would run cold fast. I will say, It is an old building and there were other guests there at the time, so that may have had a lot to do with it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

There was no one there to greet or welcome you. The owners did not live at the B&B as I expected. The interior design was not warm and cozy. Also they advertised about the Brother’s that owned it and that they died in the house…in the room we were in and the living room just outside our door…extremely creepy. I know I will not stay there again and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

The house was very nice. A true bed and breakfast! There was coffee and tea as well as some snacks and bottled water available all day. Breakfast cooked to order. Games and books available! Ample space.

The bed was older and not very comfortable.

Beautiful home! Outstanding breakfast with yummy snacks and water provided.

Our bathroom sink was kind of small but worked out fine. The outlet in bathroom didn’t work but no big deal.

Great location and super friendly staff! Kye was fantastic!!!! So much better than a soulless hotel. Meeting the fellow patrons was an unexpected bonus!

No real downside but if you don’t appreciate old homes you might nitpick. I appreciate the character.

The home itself is beautiful! The staff & owner are amazing! The breakfast was great! The location to Sleeping Bear Dunes, very close! Hope to return sooner than later 🙂
