Overall our stay at Rocky Gap was lovely. The resort is very well kept and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean and the shower was spa-like! The only complaint I had about the room was the hardness of the mattress. The restaurants were a bit of a disappointment with some of the food very under seasoned and not particularly hot. Since we were there off season we were not able to take advantage of weekend entertainment offerings, but we knew that ahead of time. Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5.

Great location, beautiful lake and scenery. Property was well maintained and friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay. Food seemed a bit overpriced and good but nothing special. Really enjoyed the outside area and hiking trails.

"Nice view of lake. Hotel did its job"

The hotel served its purpose. Gambled a little, the casino is very nice. But overall we had good service at the hotel. There was an issue with the rooms but it was resolved shortly after. Restaurants were okay, you have to go early if you don’t make reservations which isn’t an issue. Prices are slightly over priced but it’s a “resort” 🤷‍♀️ It has a nice outdoor patio with live music and a small beach overlooking the lake.

"Gorgeous place, serious staff issues"

Gorgeous location, scenic golf, clean, comfortable rooms. Nice casino. Service and food in restaurants a total disaster. Understaffed, unprofessional, and poorly managed. One waiter, Logan, was great. The rest were openly miserable and passed that on to guests. Kitchen was overwhelmed early each evening, ran out of many items, and guests walked out. What a shame
