Only reason this hotel didn’t get perfect rating is due to the fact that their “incidentals” charge has a hold time of 1 month. So you had to wait a month for the hold to release from your credit card

My companion and I have nothing but good things to say about The Inn on Alameda! Our first room had too many steps to get to it, so we were moved to a ground floor room with a lovely patio. We were able to use the shuttle several times to get into town and other places. We loved the restaurant, and the breakfast was free. Mostly, it was the people, who were unfailingly polite and friendly.

From check-in to the dining room this property has an excellent staff. Our room was clean and quiet. The bed was excellent. Inside the walls of the property you are insulated from the hustle and bustle outside. The breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast and we enjoyed the restaurant for lunch one of the days we were there. As it turned out, we were seated at the next table from the owner of the property and enjoyed meeting him when he recognized my dad. I have been visiting Santa Fe since the late 70s. I have stayed at most of the downtown properties at one time or another. This is the first one where I plan to repeat on my next visit. The location is as convenient as it gets being a short walk from both the downtown Square and canyon road. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within easy walking. If you know your way around Santa Fe getting to and from this property is also a breeze since it is located on Paseo de Peralta.

Very welcoming check-in, and an Inn so full of character. The buffet breakfast is absolutely delicious, the Tequila Bar and restaurant has fantastic food. It’s in a perfect location to enjoy Santa Fe and Canyon Road. We would absolutely stay again.
