We stayed one night. We had a spacious room with a small patio. The room was updated and very clean. Staff members were polite, professional, and helpful. We had a nice walk at the water's edge in Tiburon, with views of the SF skyline. Ferry stops to SF and to Angel Island are a short walk from the hotel. Restaurants, cafes, and a very upscale grocery store were close by.

Nightly rates are high, but that is the case with all hotels in Tiburon and Sausalito. We were disappointed that the hotel no longer offers bike loans, we were looking forward to a nice bike ride.

Nice location, with lots of interesting sights and helpful services in walking distance. The furnishings were attractive. The lighting was good. The price was reasonable. We liked the garden.

The toilet/shower area was somewhat antiquated, with a noisy fan, shower curtains that tended to fall off, and an unattached drain cover. The room was a bit too small. The table and chairs were jammed into a corner of the room, providing minimal space for sitting. There was no chair provided for watching TV, which had to be done from the bed.
