Hampton Inn Riverside Downtown Convention Center

This hotel was great! Had a fantastic time. Rooms were nice, and view was great of the main Blvd From my room. Parking was a little pricey but overall I was very impressed. I would like to also say Thank you to Athena, at the customer service for all her help with my stay. She was very informative and helped me tremendously when checking out and explaining my bill. I will definetly come back to this hotel next time I come out to Riverside.

Bad service

The facility was clean, and the staff was kind. There were no parking issues, and the parking structure seemed safe since you go past the hotel entrance, and it's attached to the hotel. They had the best pool hours of any hotel I've been to previously. There were several areas to hang out, both inside and out. We loved that coffee & tea were always available in the lobby. We also liked that the hotel was located close to CVS and some good food spots.

I know some people search for hotels with breakfast included; it was a pleasant surprise when we learned there was breakfast here. The issue with the breakfast was the selection and the quality of the eggs. For example, we agreed there should have been more yogurt options, or at least an option for plain. The location was confusing, and when we first arrived at the wrong hotel, they mentioned that it happens a lot. I think a sign by the Homes2 hotel directing you to the Hampton entrance would have helped a ton, especially since Google's GPS led us to the side of the building instead of the front entrance. It seemed like a safe area, but walking to the convenience store right down the street, I got catcalled more in those 5 minutes than in my entire life.

We were in town for an event at a near-by Inn. This was too expensive for us so we opted for The Hampton Inn right around the corner from our event. It was perfect, the staff super friendly, helpful and professional! Alejandra was so helpful and kind, as was all the staff! The ladies helped me tie my dress for our event! Would stay again and highly recommended for a much less expensive option. Breakfast was delicious and we also upgraded for on-site parking!

Honestly, we have zero complaints.

It was very clean and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and effectively communicated with us about expectations and schedules.
