Everything! The staff were delightful, nothing was a problem. Food was amazing.

Great location, food was very good. Room was lovely and clean.

We first stayed at The Carpenters Arms 5 years ago, and we were delighted to discover we were in the very same room. I have a few problems with arthritis so these days the comfort of a hotel room is the most important thing for a successful stay - and this ticked every box: fabulous bed (spacious and so comfy) , beautiful chairs (nice height and not too squashy), and a lovely deep bath. all this along with excellent daily room service and a gorgeous view. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was as good as we remembered. A special mention for the lovely Emma, who really looked after us at dinner and kept us entertained - we hope you had a great time hiking with your friends Emma!

Breakfast was a little on the pricey side, especially as I didn't want anything cooked.

Great venue

This beautiful 200 year old pub is English charm at its best. On a quiet lane in a tiny village, with stunning views and walks where you see sheep, cows , horses and llamas. They provide everything to make your stay so comfortable.

The scenery, staff, food comfort. Lovely walks in the area.

Beautiful old building excellent food great location for Bath Bristol and Mendips.
