Courtyard Toluca Airport

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY. I PAID FOR THE ROOM SEVERAL DAYS AGO, AND I SHOW UP TO FIND OUT THAT THE HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED AND THE STAFF COULD CARE LESS…AFTER OVER AND HOUR OF WAITING THEY ARE FINALLY TAKING ME TO A HOTEL MUCH FARTHER AWAY AND HAL THE PRICE…..

Estuvimos muy a agusto

Fue complicada nuestra estancia. Hice la reserva para estar en la ubicacion del aeropuerto, cuando llegamos para el check out nos dijeron que estaba en remodelacion y que nos habian movido a otra ubicacion inconveniente para nuestro viaje! Y al llegar al otro hotel, también estaba en remodelación! El staff se portó amable dadas las condiciones, pero no es posible que no hubiera un aviso de la situación para que pudiera evaluar si era conveniente para nuestro viaje. Las habitaciones limpias, pero incompleto las amenidades ofrecidas.

Nos mandarona otro hotel de la cadena, el hotel reservado no estaba en operación, y no avisaron. El nuevo hotel en remodelación y tardaron en darnos una habitación con energía eléctrica.

The hotel apparently is closed for the season the manager let me know by email the day after the hotel is closed that we now have to go to the Tollocan hotel. The tollocan hotel is much further away from our destination and the traffic to get there is horrendous and quite frankly quite dangerous to even get into the parking lot having to cut across 4 lanes to be able to reach the parking lot. The hotel was also under renovation had to use the staff elevator because they closed the main lobby. There wasn’t a full menu for breakfast. No room service. Overall one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. If I had known all of this I would have considered using a completely different service. Why let someone book when the hotel will be closed as well as say that the rooms are almost sold out when you have a whole hotel almost available.

Buen hotel , sin embargo , entra demasiada luz a los cuartos. Por lo cual no puedes dormir a profundidad

Expedia mentioned "free airport shuttle" so I called the property and they rejected to pick me up, claiming they were busy. I asked when was the earliest time they could come and they gave me a time but said they would charge me (considerably more expensive than a regular taxi). I asked to speak with the manager and they kept me on hold for 17 minutes, after which they told me the manager was not available and simply hung up. Room was old, too simplistic, and without ANY equipment. The A/C was very old and the heat did not work. The hinges on the shower's door were very loose which had me worry the door could fall and injure me or my son. When I asked for basic toiletries (toothpaste and toothbrush), they said they only had stuff for sale but they were out of toothpaste anyway. Not precisely what you expect from a Courtyard location. Definitely not coming back.
