Jacobs Ladder Inn & Brewery

It is a simple inn on top of a pub - the facilities were more than adequate with a kettle and coffee maker. We came in July where the outside temperature was about 25C but inside went up to 29C, and there was no AC but they offered a small desk fan. They also offered laundry, traditional breakfast, and the wonderful company of the locals. Train station is about 15 min away on foot on a relatively flat surface, and the center of town and bus stops are down the relatively steep stairway!

No AC in the room in the middle of summer.

Schönes neues Gemeinschaftbad, tolle Lage und nettes Personal. Es war sauber und das Frühstück war auch gut.

Im Zimmer hat es sehr stark nach Rauch gerochen, Lüften war Pflicht.

The location is perfect walking distance from restaurants and shopping (take the stairs, it's better than leg day at the gym). Checking in was easy, and the girl who helped me was so nice and attentive. The room is beautifully remodeled, with ensuite and sea views. Breakfast was nice, and I had a good chat with the owner.

The bed and pillows were a little hard for my back and neck, but 1 knight was fine. Next time, we will bring pillows because I did wake up with a slight headache

Die Lage zum Bahnhof und dem Zentrum

Zimmerauswahl Twin oder Doppel war nicht klar. Hotel hat mit einer einzelnen Matratze gut reagiert!

Great location close to town centre. Room was big with modern bathroom.

Obwohl unter den Zimmern eine Bar war, war ab 23:00 Ruhe. Gut gelegen, um die Umgebung zu erkunden.

Excellent room

Difficult access to town as we have mobility problem. Very steep & lots of steps.
