Lord Nelson Hotel

Lovely people, full of kindness with very good food !

The rooms were very comfortable and our hosts were very welcoming. We would definitely like to stay again at Lord Nelson Hotel!

Location

Very old and tired, no way of doing off wet clothes/boots after many day walking in the rain.

Nice and simple - bed and bathroom + a friendly breakfast. It is a perfect stay if you just want a place to rest your head in a quiet place and get fed first thing in the morning. Staff are all happy and chipper!

remember to take your shower gel & soap, there didn't appear to be any in our room. The lighting is very white / bright, and that is quite harsh when you are trying to wind down in the evening. Forget using their TV, very small.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to find. A simple room for a quick stop over.

The location - I should have investigated better - the only other option for dinner (other than the Lord Nelson) was take away but there was nowhere local (parks etc) to eat it so we had a picnic on the floor of our room. We had to ask for the wifi password (no info provided in the room about anything). It was quite noisy from the pub crowd.

Nice room, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was great and Sunday roast was amazing.

Lovely hosts, great cooked breakfast, comfortable bed, everything clean. Has a homey feeling to it. All in all very good value for money.

Surrounding village not very inspiring, but close to Brecon Beacons NP when you have a car.
