La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ontario Airport

I've stayed at La Quinta throughout the country and have a good idea what to expect, and this wasn't it. It started with the elevator where there was grafitti scrawled into the wood panels. The single elevator is huge but is slow and makes concerning sounds. The room was overall fine but there was a red bull in the garbage can, a hair in the bathtub, and the wall next to the shower was suffering from rot. The bathroom had been renovated with a new countertop but they apparently couldn't fit a normal door so they replaced it with dual half-doors like a closet? Then I found wet spots on the carpet. The final straw was when I turned on the hair dryer and a cloud of black bits went flying over everything - looked like some disintegrating foam. I went to sleep with my laptop plugged into the desk lamp to charge and found the next morning that the outlets turn off when the entryway switch is turned off! The good news is the breakfast is nice with DIY waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs (not fluffy but OK). I also smelled marijuana on my floor hallway perhaps from the guy at breakfast proudly sporting the "weed makes me happy" t-shirt. Front desk staff was helpful and there was a staff person restocking the breakfast. Bed was too firm but OK. Overall it was OK but perhaps the worst La Quinta I've stayed at.

The hotel is very clean and decent my only problem was house keeping didn't stop by to clean up the room and I have to Walk to the receptionist to request towels.

Amazing property with plenty of parking that is free. Literally every staff that was there was so kind and personable and super accommodating.

I had no complaints.
