Conveniently close to galleria for shopping but carpet was dirty and had a smell to it especially by the elevators. Room was decent but windows were dirty. I was barely in my room but not worth what I paid.

"Terrible place to Stay for Security of Vehicle"

When I checked in I was told there was cameras and good security. I stayed here for a month in all. I had a feeling something wasn't right when I seen barricades across the back entrance. In the front when I pulled in I seen more barricades to the left and some at the entry. The second Monday I was there my truck got broke into just in damage $750.00 they didn't take much. I talked to other residents staying at the Hotel altogether 4 people told me their vehicle got broke into. I was given permission to park my vehicle in the front where you check in. 1 night desk woman raised hell about me parking in the front, my truck was safe for the next week. I did listen to others stating their vehicle was broke in. When I moved my truck after having permission to park in front and that was a condition of me staying there. I found out they have no security cameras like I was told. They told me they had a security guard but he was off both times my vehicle was broke into. Manager did offer 1 time to give me a one night stay for free which was a slap in the face considering it cost $750 to replace. The second time he didn't offer anything. 2 times I was at the counter talking to desk person and someone would come up to the desk talking about their vehicle getting broke into. Even the desk clerk made a comment this is happening once a week and the hotel should do something to protect their guest vehicles. This is a very unsafe area to stay in which is surprising River Oaks/ Galleria Area of the South Loop. I would never stay at this La Quinta again. I do believe they are against Fire Marshall Code for blocking exit/entry ways areas in case of emergency.

Carpeting is very dirty around the property (needs replacing at this point), poor quality breakfast. Room was ok but also noisy guests next door.

I’ve been staying here for years. They def need some updates. And they need to clean the waffle maker. All the waffles were sticking and wouldn’t come out the maker without a hassle. Staff was amazing though. Old facility needs some updates

My kids and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a restaurant near by which we tried and we really liked. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is the bathroom door did not close completely and there is no fridge in the rooms. The daily breakfast was so convenient and my kids loved making their own waffles. We loved the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. I would definitely stay her again when traveling to Houston.

The room cleaning was not done daily and the towels were not replaced . Bad experience Even at other similar hotels they change/ make beds r daily with clean towels .!
