The grounds were beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help you, but our room was freezing cold the entire time. We were told that it was because the resort had switched from heating to cooling, which I get, but that didn't keep me warm at night while my wife and I huddled under 2 blankets

The hospitality of the staff was outstanding , they all were so helpful, kind & friendly although I was alone & so sad about my lost luggage. They treated me like a princess, made sure that I’m happy & feeling comfortable all day long especially Saverio. The variety of food was amazing & I had a great time talking, singing & dancing with Anita & Fabrizio’s live music every night.

My only note is about the bathtub, need more maintenance & cleaning.

Large rooms with huge balconies facing the Mediterranean Sea. A sumptuous buffet breakfast every morning. Updated facilities with two pools and a nice beach.

Restaurant choices are somewhat limited unless you buy into the price fixe 4 course meals. Bottles of wine are reasonably price. However, if you want to buy by the glass, the minimum glass for very standard wines is $25 euros. There is definitely some price gouging there. Concierge is not that helpful with arranging excursions, although very polite.

The overpricing policy of the hotel is outrageous and was a major drawback: 9 euros for coffee, 15 for a bottle of water, 20 for a single scoop of (average) ice cream. We have been in many luxury resorts around the world and don't mind spending for good food and services, but this is clearly unjustifiable and left us with a feeling that the hotel is more interested in the customer's wallet than its confort. As a result, we spent little money in the hotel and ate out most of the time. Evening restaurant was mediocre and trying to hard to look like a gastronomic venue (100 euros set menu per person), serving frozen tuna for starters, decent fish but accompanied by tasteless potato cubes, and no desert. Breakfast was also below average for the standing of the hotel: fruits swarmed with fruit-flies, cold scrambled eggs and beans, boxed cereals. Based on these remarks, we cannot recommend this hotel and will not return.
