The food in the butcher and chef restaraunt was out of this world.

Fabulous place to stay and be made to feel special.

Loved the place it had everything I need to give my friend a nice bridal shower.

A lovely room with a walk in shower as requested. Really helpful for someone in their 80s. Running late because of previous business meeting, phoned to change dinner reservation which was handled very professionally with no fuss, and greeted on arrival.

A very welcoming and comfortable location. Always love staying here. Such comfortable rooms.

The lighting in our room seemed quite dull, in spite of having ever light on!

Breakfast, excellent presentation and variety not overwhelming and cheap with a good nod to their home produce promoting health and wellbeing. Room - upgraded to a suite which for us was an absolute bonus as my husband has terminal esophageal cancer and having a separate lounge area meant he could relax in comfort instead of having to rely on the communal sofas. We were extremely grateful for this. We have been to the Goodwood Hotel a few times and found it to be relaxing, not commercialised with plenty to do which we indulged in - spa, treatments, classes and played tennis. Bonus - it is only about an hour and a half from home.

Loo paper holder was broken in the loos by the treatment rooms. Had to pick loo roll up from the floor.

Staff were excellent, special mention for Bryony for professional, friendly, smiley assistance and Paul for positive spirits and great conversation. The public rooms are charming. Classic decor with great attention to detail with lovely fabrics, wallpapers, pictures and lamps. Also, welcoming wood fires. The grounds and gardens are very pretty with sunny corners and sheltered courtyards. The overall impression is of a well designed, well run, relaxed hotel.

Bathroom a bit small in Superior room, shower over bath tight and slippery.
