Beautiful building and stunning grounds reception was very polite and staff at breakfast

The bathroom in room 301 was covered in mold all over the ceiling and round the shower and tile. The bath is all cracking near the plug hole too. The flush is dodgy on the toilet. There was Lego and someone’s slippers and rubbish under the bed. I upgraded to a superior room expecting something really nice and this was a huge let down to be honest it made me feel uncomfortable the mold but I couldn’t complain at the stay as I was hardly there due to being there for a wedding but still wanted a nice room to stay in especially for the price

Hotel facilities and grounds are beautiful. The swimming pool and gym were very nice.

The mattresses and pillows were the hardest I have ever experienced, to the extent that at 1:30am we acquired slightly softer pillows and a comforter to use as a mattress topper. We got 4 hours sleep that night. Some of the staff were also quite rude.

The fact that I had pur a complaint in to a duty manager that was passed onto the operations manager Darren and I never heard a thing back! Absolutely shocking customer service to not follow up. I would not recommend this hotel.

The place is beautiful, I like the gym, the food, the quietness.

Very well appointed room with comfy bed, beautiful bathroom. It looked as though it had all been refurbished recently. Well decorated and comfortable bar and communal areas. Excellent spa facilities, with an unusually (for a hotel) large swimming pool. Good golf course with beautiful views. Lots of walking with possibility of seeing a good variety of wildlife. Plenty of parking. But note this is really only a good location if you have a car. Staff helpful.

Standard of food a bit limited, but not bad value for money. Breakfast so expensive we didn't consider it. WiFi reception in our room very poor.

Verschrikkelijk, TRAP ER NIET IN!!! De foto's beloven veel maar eenmaal binnen, vergane glorie, verregaande staat van ontbinding door achterstallig (of eigenlijk gewoon nooit uitgevoerd) onderhoud en vooral hééél vies!!! Verschoten bruine vloerbedekking lijkt grijs door lagen stof, grote kuilen in, waarschijnlijk al 25 jaar afgeschreven, bed, meerdere lampen werken simpelweg niet, toilet wat niet doorspoelt enz. enz. En, oh ja, als je denkt dat je schone handdoeken aantreft bij een meerdaags verblijf? Forget it, deze mag je zelf gaan vragen bij de receptie (standaard policy...!?!) Hotel onwaardig, zonde van zo'n statig gebouw op een prachtige lokatie. Énorme teleurstelling.....
