"Overpriced for one night B&B but lovely staff"

Lovely location and grounds

I thought the room we had was very old fashioned in its decor and looked very tired. For what we paid for one night b&b I felt expensive. No air conditioning - just a fan in the room. Only one pillow each so we borrowed a cushion each from one of the lobby areas. We couldn’t charge drinks to our room. The bar staff were very friendly however and helped me out when we arrived with plates, cutlery and ice for our room as we had bought some food from M&S to eat early evening.

"Disappointing as we were looking to bring a family group but left unconvinced."

Great location and friendly staff

It took 1hr to bring our desert after the main course. This is not a reflection on the staff... there just weren't enough of them.

"Nice location for a short break"

The location and outdoor area was very nice. We also used the swimming pool for some fun with the kids.

Breakfast choices and food quality were poor.

"Great location, needs a comfort upgrade."

The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble. I was cold in the night and someone kindly brought an extra blanket to my room.

Shower under-powered. Bed could do with a mattress topper - not particularly comfortable.
