Location to the centre and uber connection was very handy

It wasn’t clear which apartment was mine so since I arrived in the middle of the night it was hard to get my head around. Stairs to the apartment was very steep - it’s been tricky to carry suitcase up and down.

The location is great, you have access to several restaurants and attractions nearby, as well as access to Apalonia Station being very close (10 minutes walking). The bed is comfortable and the sofa bed is ok.

The entrance stairs are very steep and short, not recommended if you have a lot of luggage (or heavy luggage). .

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt im Herzen von Alfama nur wenige Meter vom Flohmarkt entfernt. Der Gastgeber hat viele hilfreiche Tips gegeben und eine Flasche Wein und Wasser für den Empfang bereitgestellt.

Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas wenig und abgenutzt.

Muy bien equipado (cubiertos, utensilios de cocina, secador de pelo, gel y champú…).

The area is very nice and the apartment is very cosy. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

It is an old building and of course you hear all the neighbours and when some party people are in the house, it is loud. The owner can do nothing about it. I read some bad comments about the furniture, I cannot confirm. But I think the owner already changed some of the equipment, like the cupboard in the sleeping room, which was mentioned many times. Of course some of the rest of the equipment can be changed as well, but nothing dramatic. I should mention one thing though - there is no private parking available, like it says in booking. There are some free parking slots in the area and also one paid parking, but nothing which is reserved for the apartment. It was new for me, because I booked the apartment mainly because of the parking. It was no problem to find one free at the end.
