Baymont by Wyndham Washington Court House

The pool and the clean shower. The size of the room was fantastic. I was really pleased with how comfortable the bed was. They had soap shampoo and conditioner that was pretty decent. The pool water was very clean. The staff was very nice and very helpful.

The microwave didn't work in my room. The bathroom did feel small. The pool side chairs are kind of nasty.

The room had a “hot tub” but the water was only hot for maybe 2-3 minutes and then got cold. Wasn’t even hot long enough to fill the hot tub or even take a shower. When I unfolded the couch bed there was crumbs and a big blacks and grey feather folded up in it. I also found a lighter in the regular king bed..

The location is excellent, right off the highway. Easy on and easy off. I paid about $99, which is excellent for a night at a hotel, but I thought I was getting a deal on a more expensive room. This was a lot for what I got. I would expect this to be a $ 75-a-night hotel room, along the lines of a Budget Inn or Red Roof.

The staff member at the front desk didn't greet me, nor ask me more than the perfunctory questions: was I traveling alone, did I have a dog (?), and didn't respond to me when I said thank you, or when I said have a good night. I had forgotten my toothbrush, and she didn't seem happy to help me get one. The hotel itself is not in good shape; it is old and needs to be remodeled, with many maintenance and repair items that need to be addressed.
