"Served the purpose/cheap place for 1 night for GVSU move/Pay the extra $ for somewhere else"

Cheap rates, comfy bed, hot shower

Dirty halls, & outside property, many vagrants or possibly just people living there coming in and out of hotel windows to the outside....garbage in hallway

The room itself was clean. The HVAC and TV worked, and hot water was available. However, the former bar in the tub for hanging the shower wand was almost coming out of the enclosure. The rack for towels & washcloths by the sink was loose and almost detached from the wall. overall, maintenance was fair at best. The pedestal sink had almost no room for toiletries - a poor design choice. I haven't stayed in a Rodeway In for a number of years. Now I remember why.

Staff was great

We had tons of issues from the moment we got there. It took them three times to get our keys to work and then they ended up changing the batteries and we still had issues in the door. Bathroom doors didn’t shut. Bathroom toilet was clogged the whole time. Sink was clogged. Room was dirty. The hallways in our room both smelled foul. Was not a good experience and was very disappointed. The staff was very good.

Place was so dirty the ceiling was caving in. The carpets were dirty, blankets, towels. The lamp shade had mold on it.

Very dirty and stain carpeting. The shower faucet was broken so it was with scorching hot water or cold. Dirty bath towel. The mini frig would not shut down and made noise all night. The TV only had 4 channels. Staff seemed to be nice.
