"I'm glad I only needed to stay one night"

Well, this certainly lived down to Super 8's reputation. I expect seven things from a motel -- 1. Cleanliness 2. Decent bed linens (not thin sheets) 3. A working TV and channel guide 4. That EVERY front desk staff member and anyone answring the phone speak very fluent English. 5. Hot water (shower and bath) -- shower was just tepid -- UGH! 6. A decent breakfast (even it is just a Continental type) 7. Bath/shower faucets in good condion This motel met the first three requirements, but not the last four. The breakfast was very poor, and the breakfast area was so tiny that people were eating standing up. And only 8 oz. styrofaam cups were avaialbe for coffee, and they are so cheap, that only one 4-oz. container of yogurt was left in the fridge (at 8:30 a.m.) -- so for a night that cost $160.00, I ended up with that single yogurt and a banana for my "Continental Breakfast included" and only a shower that wasn't even very warm. After making a reservation online, I had a question so I called the motel, and the person answering the phone could not understand me and I could not understand him, and I finally just gave up. (At that point, I would have canceled the reservation except that the other close motel close to Aurora BayCare was sold out.) But at least it was clean.
