BEWARE: TERRIBLE HOTEL, This hotel is terrible, too many bad things, please read & let me tell, first they try & rip you off, read carefully, this is what they do, I booked for 3 nights which was $75 US, when i arrived to pay, $75 US was 150,000 Burma Kyats, & according to the official exchange rate it was Exactly this, $75 US to Burma Kyat = 150,000, however I paid in local currency & they tried to charge me 268,000 Burma Kyats, which is $128 UDS, that is $53 USD more than the official exchange rate, I argued with them & told them they are ripping me off & charging me $53 USD extra, & they are ignoring the official exchange rate & making up their own rate, This is exactly what they do here at the Hood hostel, they ignore the world banks official exchange rate, they think they are still living in 2021, & continue to charge people from the exchange rate from 2021, they then got their manager on the phone, who she just spewed lots of lies about how the world bank & the global official exchange rate is wrong & doesn't count, I refused to pay in local currency & paid in US cash so they could not rip $53 USD more off me, the rooms are dirtry & disgusting, there are dirty marks all over the walls, & the balconies have never ever been cleaned, the place smells like mold, & there is mold & slim all over the walls & floor on the balcony, they have never done any cleaning at all, the bed, sheets & pillow cases were dirty, with marks & dirt over them, & there was plastic bag waste in the bed when i pulled the top sheet back (I have photos) now the power & water did not work at all for most of the 3 days & nights i stayed there, now this mainly is because of the city & bad infrastructure, however, on our last day when we were leaving, i complained to the girl at the counter why they don't tell people before hand that there is no water & electricity each day an for the most of...
