The hotel waa great. Perfect for what we needed

The staff was very nice and the check=in went great.

The location is great, close to things without being loud. Staff was friendly, felt safe the whole time we were there. Would stay again as it was a great price

Bathroom could be updated more but wasn't really a bad thing

Breakfast was good. Great location as i have family in Dallas and Ftw.

There was a large amount of broken glass found in the pull out couch late the first night. The housekeeper was appologetic, but I never heard from management or even the front desk. As we travel with small children, this could have been pretty bad. I felt this warranted a word from management. No compensations were made even though this occurred late night and was a dangerous and frustrating hassle.

Breakfast was awesome, staff is kind and flexible and the location is superb.

I'm a lifetime Marriott Elite Gold and is my preferred brand. Supposedly have elevated customer service and dedicated support line for my status, but didn't seem to do any good for one of the few issues I've ever had. This property is clearly a converted retirement home or older long-term hotel. It's NOT up to Marriott brand standards. Within 5 minutes of walking into our room myself and my family experienced breathing problems. We had to grab emergency inhalers. The room and hallways smelled musty and moldy. I'm not sure if the air quality was due to general lack of cleanliness and dust or actual mold. They offered a different room, but it wasn't any better. The pictures are of the 2nd room attempt, dust everywhere! On a 5 day prepaid reservation during winter break and over NYE, I had to prioritize my family's health and check out. Now the hotel wants to only offer a partial refund which is completely unacceptable. As a lifetime Marriott brand loyal customer I'll be fighting this charge up the chain and reporting to health department. If we didn't have our inhalers readily available I would have needed emergency care as we LITTERALLY COULDN'T BREATH. Hotel is old and dirty. Then had to face the stress of finding a 5 night hotel same day during holidays and had to pay more! This an extremely frustrating experience that Marriott needs to take accountability for as the franschisor/ brand. Customer service said they would contact me in 5 business days but recieved no communication. I had to call back and a supervisor was unable to forget assist. She apparently reopened my case and then says they aren't required to contact me, so I'll have to call back in another 5 days. So much for that "Elite Bonvoy" customer support.
