Extended Stay America Suites - Phoenix - Airport - Tempe

This location was clean and the night staff was super nice . It was located in a safe area right off the freeway. Bass pro and the Phoenix zoo were only 17 minutes away .we got the 2 queen bed suite and it had alot of room for our toddler to play .

They changed the room without staying. I'm trying to check in around 11 pm. They told me that my room shows in the system "no show"

The only good thing about the property was that the staff was friendly enough and it wasn’t too far from the airport.

Everything. It was dirty, outdated… the room smelled badly of cigarettes. The window didn’t close so there was a large gap that let lots of bugs in. Every time I turned the lights on at night I could see cockroaches crawling. There was no breakfast left by the time I got down at 9am. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I was told if get a partial refund because my window didn’t close, but have yet to receive anything. A truly disappointing experience. This property needs to shut down.

Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout stay! Other than that overall bad rating, the rooms/bathrooms were disgusting upon arrival and bedding/towels looked used. The smell alone throughout the lobby, hallways, and especially the room is enough to turn away customers, as they state it’s a none smoking hotel but every morning it smells like cigarettes being lit from everyone’s rooms. And to top that all off cockroaches were spotted throughout the stay and the man at the front desk seemed like he hears this everyday considering there was no reaction. Absolutely disgusting and the pictures were so misleading, the only good thing about the stay was the staff other than that I’d recommend not to stay here unless absolutely needed!!!!! Also breakfast should not be listed on their site sooo misleading, very stingy with one item per person like wow I’m sooo full…. 0 star rating.
