the hotel is m in a v very secluded serene area. The one thing that bothered us our neighbor smoking in the outside area the veranda. very beautiful spacious room. th scenery from the hotel was magnificent

"Beautiful, but bad service"

We stayed here for three nights for a short honeymoon. I love luxury resorts, but this one was a little too quiet for us (except the screaming children). Most of the clients were older, or families with young children. The service was extremely slow. The food was below average. But the views were beautiful, and the resort was really pretty. Richard and Nicholas were awesome down at the beach:) Communication with scheduling prior to arrival was pretty bad also:/

Staff was terrible . Concierge had all of my arrangements set for the wrong day and when I showed her the emails showing she set it up for the correct day she said it’s a misunderstanding . Then they never called a cab for my transfer which I almost missed and then lied about it and said well you can always go to st barts tomororw . Also lost my gf COVID test and almost missed my boat . Horrible experience . The food was also horrible . Would never go back even if it was for free

La Samana is simply paradise, from the moment you step in...- The views are breathtaking, the facility is beautiful and the service- phenomenal! I will definitely be back! From a cost perspective it's extremely high and this needs to be taken into account given the fact that you can find other "as good as" resorts that are more affordable...
