Location and rooms are great

Fire alarm went off really early (no fire) for no reason

We have stayed at this location when it was a Holiday Inn Express and it recently had a complete remodel/update and is now a Hilton Home 2 Suites. Positives: 1. Convenient location: it’s walking distance (1/2 mile) to Scottsdale stadium and about a mile from Old Town Scottsdale 2. Friendly helpful staff 3. Comfortable beds and pillows 4. HUGE room with sofa bed, full refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave 5. Plenty of free parking 6. Reasonable rates during Spring Training 7. Close to good restaurants, Oreganos is awesome and US Egg was a great breakfast alternative. Negative: 1. The free breakfast buffet is limited and below average. They had no OJ, the only fresh fruit was oranges (no bananas), the bacon was thin, greasy crumbles no strips and we ate at 7:30am. They had raisin bran or Rice Krispie cereal, toast, bagels, premade mini omelettes, a few different types of muffins, waffle maker but no fruit for waffles, yogurt and oatmeal. It was the worst breakfast buffet we’ve ever had and we’ve stayed at many Hilton properties. They could do better. 2. The bathroom setup, at least in our room, was ridiculous. The door opened to the right, away from the shower towards the sink. The light for the bathroom was next to the sink so you had to walk into the dark bathroom and close the door to turn on the light, then turnoff the light open the door to leave. It was impossible to turn the light on or off without closing the bathroom door. The bathroom was extremely small and should probably have a barn door rather than a swinging door. Or better yet, the room is so huge they could have made the bathrooms bigger. 3. During our stay the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The first day it got warm but the jets didn’t work, the second day it couldn’t get warm and the jets didn’t work. It was reported to the front desk. Take away: Would we stay here again? Yes! But we would plan to go offsite for breakfast, not a huge deal but a little inconvenient. We could deal with the bathroom but would prefer not to as it was a bit of a challenge, especially at night.

The beds and bedding was very comfortable
