Home2 Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

Deposit is not 100 dollars as posted in description instead it was 350. I can understand but was still a big surprise.

Room was great. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Front desk staff didn't have suggestions for a quick local dinner when we arrived from the airport pretty late(she wasn't from the area), but I would recommend Cien Agave in Oldtown Scottsdale, 5 minutes away. Didn't use the gym, but it was, like the breakfast, nicer than one would expect including a Peloton and other non standard basic hotel equipment.

Location, staff, cleanliness

Stayed here in December 2025. The woman at the front desk was very friendly when we arrived but others were not that friendly at all. No eye contact as you walked past to exit the building. They may have been annoyed with the noisy children who were enjoying the pool. Who knows? The building is a refurbished ex Holiday Inn. Good job overall and very clean BUT the door in the bathroom hits the toilet so you need to step inside and close the door to get to the sink and turn the light on. Not very practical. Why they didn't go with the doors that slide into the walls I don't know! Totally annoyed when I received my bill and saw a daily "parking - maintenance upkeep of parking lot" for $3.87 plus a "parking tax" for 31 cents. OK, it's not the end of the world but seriously folks, whoever is running that place, don't pretend parking is free and then charge those daily amounts. The Hilton website still shows parking as being free. You make the place look like it's run by a bunch of desperate people in a third world city. Seriously, half the parking lot is shared with a Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles restaurant and to say the customers are noisy in the parking lot at night is an understatement. Would I stay here again? No. I've stayed in brand new Home2 Suites and the bathroom door fiasco, extra charges and noisy Lo-Lo customers at this location are a huge disappointment.

Safety issue , back door by pool , was damaged and would not lock , after notifying manager I was told it was repaired , when I looked again it was still ajar and open, this outside door was right next to my room , I again notified management and left that next day , I’d bet money the door is still not working properly

I enjoyed my stay at the Home2 Suites hotel. The staff was very friendly, approachable and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Scottsdale and is somewhat walkable (if the weather isn't too hot!). Parking is very easy and plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pool was somewhat small but we had it to ourselves during our stay so it didn't bother us.
