Bloomington Inn I-55 and I-74

after a disaster of trying to check in, and who's fault it was that they did not have my reservation, had to pay more to stay than orig thought .....place was ok

The hotel was clean with new paint. The free breakfast was very minimal. The area was not horrible, but they didn’t shut down the loud party that was going on in a room.

A pleasant hotel that has obviously seen more lucrative days. Breakfast was skimpy but i was late to partake of what might have been served. A much larger hotel than the traffic would support. There were only 4 cars in the expansive parking lot last night. Large banquet/conference facility part of hotel has fallen into decay/disrepair. Staff that I met were all pleasant and helpful. Unless business picks up this place probably won't make it. Too bad.

I’m fairly reasonable when it comes to hotels and I generally know what to expect from rooms this cheap but basic customer service shouldn’t be a luxury hotel accommodation. Room was okay, deadbolt didn’t work, and the room itself could use some work. All of this would have been okay for my overnight stay but I had requested a late check out when I checked in which apparently wasn’t communicated. I was stopped in the hallway before standard check out time when I was looking for coffee creamer and asked if I was leaving, front desk called again at 11 (normal check out) asking if I was leaving, all after I asked for late check out and spoken to three different employees about this. On top of that I was double charged the late check out fee which I am still trying to get my money back from after front desk told me my BANK made that charge to my card for a room I had prepaid for a month in advance. I wouldn’t bother with this place. I mostly needed a place to just rest between travels but I couldn’t even get the rest between being bugged about leaving and double charging me fees.

RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. APPEARENCES CAN AND ARE DECEIVING!! Wonderful checkin process place looks great when you first walk in the building. STOP!! If you have already checked in, just walk away slowly and never look back you made it and very inexpensively i might add. Chalk it up to "The world done slapped you in the face FROM BEHIND" Trust and believe, this gay boy can get just as dirty as the next girl but this place is just gross. Walk yourself to the other corner if you have to, the hotels on the other side of the highway know your coming hun. They will help you no questions asked. Leave it...just go you dont want to know...rooms by the hour are nicer than what you just stumbled into. Unless you like bugs, spiders, and things that make you itch at night. Heating and cooling units that dont or wont work. A full swimming pool thats "under maintenance" yet locked up so tight it will never re-open. Then by all means, endulge... Dont say you weren't warned! Yes we survived with a room change in the middle of the night, however not 1 person chose to close thier eyes for fear that things might change or something worse develop. And then it was morning we got out of that place so fast the HeBeGeBees were trying to catch up to our trail. I still take a shower everytime i think of that seaspit the employees are so proud to call clean and well apointed. You're better off just giving yourself that staph infection you knew was coming one day, now.

Could have been a lot cleaner!

Clerk at desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel needs updating. The bathroom was dated but clean. Bed was comfy and clean except the bedskirt was filty or stained. Crumbs on the floor. After a long day we collapse in bed to sleep and a few hours later the air conditioner started making awful noises. Even with temps in the 90s I had to turn it off to get some sleep. No time to tell the clerk as had to be out again for the day. At check out I did advise the clerk of the issue and he was very concerned and upset did not tell him sooner. I truly had no time to tell sooner but did want them to know. I did see him drive to the unit when I was leaving. Guess I got what I paid for. Low prices aren't always the best way to go.

the room was dirty and smelled really bad. Had to go to Walmart and buy Lysol. System was down when we checked in and then the next day I get harassed because I hadn't paid yet. it was ridiculous. A/C did not work at all.

When we came into the room air conditioning was off and it was that smell in a room. We turned on air conditioner and thought that smell dissapers. Unfortunately it didn't happened. My suggestion would be turn on air conditioners before guests arives.

It was an awful stay. Room was not clean, smelled really bad, and had flying insects. Called the front desk for a new room and no answer. The breakfast was anything but satisfying. Had mini donuts with a gallon milk and half gallon of orange juice to share.
