Quality Inn I-70 at Wanamaker

The location is easy to find. A lot of dining and shopping nearby. Breakfast was standard but good. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Carpet was a little stained. Toilet seat was real loose.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Easy to book. Beds were very comfortable with clean room.

Our room had a vague smell of smoke (non smoking room) may have been coming from outside.

I didn't get to stay at this hotel. It was overbooked. While that is not the issue as that happens, the issue was the lack of communication so I could make other arrangements. They did apparently call the morning of my arrival. The lack of communication is where they did not leave a voicemail to notify me or ask me to call them back. I was at work and unable to answer, and since the number is not saved in my phone, I wouldn't answer anyway to avoid the constant spam of scammer calls. I was 30 minutes away from the hotel when I called with a question regarding check-in when I was finally informed of them canceling my reservation. This left me very little time to make other arrangements for my weekend stay. I was left with 1 option that was less than a consideration of a place to stay.
