Great find right on the cliff edge, huge beer garden, lovely food and friendly staff. The room was comfy and clean. Would definitely use again.

The quirky decor was great, sea view brilliant. Comfy bed , excellent bathroom, shower etc, location so close to beach

Staff often preoccupied, hardly ant interaction. Long queues to order food, didn't matter if you are staying there. Long wait for food when ordered for outside. Mum's meal was not very nice and she had to leave a lot of it

Beautiful individual room. Not standard soleless room. Beautiful seaview from room. Restaurant was extremely helpful by making me a vegetarian, gluten free salad with assorted cheeses and new potatoes. This was not on the standard menu, but very tasty. A very good experience and would love to return.

Hot room and could only open window in bedroom a little - couldn’t have window in bathroom open at all as right next to extremely loud outlet from kitchen fan. No shelves or drawers for clothes. Bathroom had no light near mirror. Bathroom not cleaned at all during our 2 night stay. Only a kettle and sachets of instant coffee. Grubby headboard. Pub gardens and car park a complete mess - rubbish everywhere. Nowhere for hotel guests to sit apart from very overcrowded bar or outside. Very disorganised checking-in - just have to find someone to take notice of you in the restaurant. All sound small things but it was so expensive that we expected much better! The website is sadly very clever marketing. So disappointed.

Location was Great, Close to the beach and large dog friendly Garden to the rear overlooking the sea. Large Car park but no specific guest parking. Room was clean and decorated nicely.

Ordered food in the restaurant but was told there was only one small table available (at this point there was no other customers inside at all !) Reluctantly accepted and we both ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas. Order arrived in time along with our drinks, one had mushy and the other garden peas, questioned this with the same waitress and she rolled her eyes and wondered off and eventually came back and plonked a bowl on the table ! Fish was tasteless and came with maybe 8 chips. Room ( number 9 ) was a small double,positioned at the front and overlooking the outside fish and chip shop eating area. The large industrial extractor fans from the kitchen were extremely noisy. Be aware that when booking through this site that the breakfast is NOT included as on arrival you are told where your breakfast is served and at what time ( not that it's an extra £17.50 each)
